Before booking a hall decide on following
what all you want to do for b'day. e.g Jsut a events or stalls you want to organise , how much space on an avg.. you would require for the same. We wanted to hold both main events and atleast 3-4 stalls. so on an avg... 20% of the hall we needed it for stalls Estimate # of people on an avg. e.g if you expect 150 guests , then a hall which can accomodate 100 shold be enough as there will be floating crowd. Decide if you want to club both b'day party and homa havana (normally they do ayushya homa for the 1st b'day). We wanted it to be sepearated so that we dont have to rush. Catering - whether any caterer is ok or you are specific , cause normally most of the party halls/hotels do not have this flexibility of bringining our caterer. We were particular about caterers and so we were looking for halls which gives this flexibility (eventually this became a decision maker ) Other things linke A/c -Non A/c , appraoch to all guest , parking space. All these are not very significant unless you are specific about them...........................Once you have clear understanding about what to look for ,go in search of halls. Normally we will know halls near by, but if you still need help you can search in google and also call Just dial - 080 69999999, they normally will give you all the information. Best ways is to just go in search of them. We did see couple of halls - Jayarama seva mandali, Sri sai party hall, Some of the Pai group halls , Samskruthi bhavan (one near South end). We short listed Jayaramaseva mandali & Samskruthi bhavan. But since Samskruthi bhavan did not give the flexibility of bringing our own caterer we settled for Jayaramasevamandali
